Participant Experience: Survey Says …

Participant Experience Survey SaysOur web-based incentive points platform features many modules designed to enhance the participant experience.  Our clients use these to ensure participant engagement and maximize the benefit of their sales incentive or employee recognition programs.  Whether it is the utilization of graphic goal trackers for a sales incentive program or the utilization of badges for “shout-outs” and peer to peer recognition on an employee recognition program, there are a lot of options to spice up one’s program.

However, one tool that can be used quite effectively for both types of programs that is underutilized by our customer base and is very easy to implement, is our quiz and survey feature.  For a sales incentive program, maybe there is a new product launch and your sales team has sat through a number of training classes and received multiple information dumps via email.  Let’s follow-up with a 5-7 question quiz to find out who was really paying attention.  The carrot is the points they will earn when answering the questions correctly.  The stick is the knowledge that their manager is aware now that they really were not paying attention in the first place.  Get psyched, because you are about to get more training and information overload until you get it right!

On the employee recognition side, maybe there is a new wellness initiative that has been implemented by the company.  You have sat through the class put on by your HR department describing the new program and the benefits to the employee’s health as well as the company’s bottom line.  Time for a quiz to reinforce this new initiative.

For either a sales incentive program or employee recognition program, why not just sample your participants to find out their thoughts on the program.  What do you like?  What changes would you like to see implemented?  What did you get with your points?

Talk to your account manager to find out what the steps are to start utilizing this effective tool.  It’s a lot easier than you think!  Considering a sales incentive or employee recognition program?  Contact us today to learn more about our sales & marketing and human resource solutions.

Design Flaws: Painfully Frustrating

Do you notice products or devices that exhibit obvious design flaws?  Could be some tech gadget, household gizmo, or garage tool – when the design is inherently bad, the item is short-lived or practically useless.  This can be painfully frustrating if you purchased it. Back in 1985 a friend of mine purchased a Yugo –… Read more »

The Game of Sales

I’ve always enjoyed the game of baseball.  There’s something about its “simple complexity” that separates it from other ball or stick & ball contests.  Baseball is played at a slower pace than other sports and therefore might seem boring to some.  However, the strategic and tactical adjustments made during the course of the game make… Read more »
