And just like that – 2025 is here! Typical of every New Year, this is a time of reflection on another year that has passed too quickly – and anticipation of what will be in the one to come.

While it does seem like only yesterday that we posted best wishes for a new year and a new beginning, the reality is that the earth is still traveling around the sun at an average speed of 67,000 mph. So, the years aren’t going by faster, but it sure seems that way!

As you reflect on the past year, 2023’s advice is still valid – have a balanced perspective in your assessment. Don’t focus exclusively on unachieved goals or unfulfilled resolutions – there are many factors that contribute to positive (and negative) outcomes that we can’t control.

Be grateful for the blessings and opportunities that come – and be positive about the lessons learned. And if you are inclined to make New Year resolutions – consider making one a top priority. Don’t miss a single opportunity with family, friends, and those you love.

2025 is the quarter-century mark of the 21^st century – the mid-point of the third decade! Let’s make it the best ever!
